Angela Torres-Kutkuhn is a second bachelor’s student at Eastern Michigan University where she is studying vocal performance. Her first B.A. is from the University of Iowa in Theater Arts with an emphasis on costume and makeup design. Ms. Torres-Kutkuhn serves as a costumer and makeup artist for Arbor Opera Theater, and has sung in the chorus for their productions of La Boheme, La Traviata, Amahl and the Night Visitors, and Die Fledermaus. She served as co-costume designer for AOT’s La Traviata, La Boheme, Magic Flute, Don Giovanni, and Die Fledermaus and also designed the concept makeup for Don Giovanni. Most recently, Ms. Torres-Kutkuhn sang the role of Third Lady for the AOT/ Marygrove College collaboration production of Mozart’s The Magic Flute, and was in the “town’s people” chorus for Michigan Opera Theater’s production of Margaret Garner.
