Robby Griswold is honored to sing with Arbor Opera as Normanno in Lucia di Lammermoor. His recent credits include performances with Arbor Opera Theater, UM Gilbert & Sullivan Society, Michigan Opera Theatre, and Marygrove College, in roles as diverse as the lecherous Monostatos in Mozart's Magic Flute, a suave singer in a 1930s radio show, the Sailor in Dido & Aeneas, an Antebellum plantation owner in Margaret Garner, and the self-indulgent aesthetic poet Grosvenor in Sullivan's Patience. Upcoming engagements include the role of Blair in Sally with Comic Opera Guild and the singing horse Falada in the outreach opera The Goose Girl with Motor City Lyric Opera. When he isn't singing, - and even when he is -, he works at Zingerman's and the Ann Arbor School for the Performing Arts.
